SPIDERS

We are learning about Spiders

We will:

·       Classify spiders by investigating through science

·       Identifying the relationship between spiders and other living things

·       Explain spiders habitats and how they get their food

·       Explore a range of spiders and appreciate that some spiders in NZ are quite different from those in other areas of the world

    We have been bringing spiders to school to help us with our learning.

ANZAC

We have been learning about Anzac Day.

WELL DONE ROOM 4

Well done Room 4 for such a fantastic term!

After reading “Matilda” we were treated to a milo while watching “Matilda” the movie on the last day of term. It was interesting to see the similarities and differences the movie had to the book.

I look forward to seeing your bright beautiful faces Monday of term 2. Happy Holidays everyone.

ORGANISING OUR TOOLS

At the start and end of term 1 we assessed our buddies’ desk and gave each other feedback and advice on how to keep more organised.

Miss Campbell is very pleased with the great efforts the children gave towards helping others and working on their Managing Self goals.
