MATHS PROBLEM

Who is up for a Maths challenge? I hope you!
Calculate and report back to Miss Campbell with your answer and working out.

QUESTION:
Which of these gives the largest number and what is the number?

a) Double three then triple the answer.....
b) Two times two, times three, times two....
c) Three times three, times three....
d) Triple two then double the answer....

  3. a)double three then triple the answer and that leaves you 18.
    b)two times two, times three times two and now you get 24.
    c)three times three times three equals 27.
    d)triple two then double the answer gives you 12.

    I wonder if I get them all right if I do that means I'm a brainy star. :)
